We are delighted to be able to offer this stunning and very well presented Range Rover Classic, which was originally supplied directly to its first keeper in 1979, by the Land Rover factory. It remained in the ownership of Colin Chapman for some considerable length of time; it simply being transferred between his various companies until it was sold in 1992. Documentation is of course available to substantiate this. The Range Rover then changed hands three times and its last keeper restored her extensively over a period of time to the correct specification. Bramley Motor Cars acquired her earlier this year and although she was in very good order, she did not meet our exacting standards that we are known for. We therefore commissioned Kingsley Cars – Range Rover specialist restoration experts to bring her up to our exacting standard and carry out a mechanical service. Other works included replacing the fuel tank and fitted a new old stock exhaust system, Restore the seats by removing them from the vehicle, removing the seat covers from the frames and separating the cloth overs from the vinyl to enable the cloth element to be dry cleaned. The vinyl elements were then replaced and the cleaned cloth was refitted after the seat foams had also been replaced. Install newly trimmed period centre cubby box. Replace the heater matrix, which was found to be leaking. The engine has also been set up to run on 98 Octane Fuel. These works totaled in excess of £7,000.00. Please call to make an appointment to view this Range Rover.
