We are delighted to be able to offer for sale this stunning and unique example of the Jaguar Series III XJ12 Saloon, which formed part of the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Collection for 16 years. It is believed to have been the last example produced and has covered just under 10,000 Miles. Presented in Silver Frost with Doeskin Hide Interior.
This car is the very last Series III Sovereign to be built and the penultimate Series III model to be produced. It is one-off, which was completed in December 1992, some months after production of the Jaguar Model had officially ceased. The car was originally owned and driven by Ros Scheele, wife of Nick Scheele, who was the chairman of and Managing Director of Jaguar Cars from 1992 to 1999.
It was then transferred to the JDHT.
After its purchase it was sent in October 2009 to the leading classic Jaguar Specialist's in the country, JD Classics, who carried out a thorough overhaul and service, which included the replacement of the Catalytic Converters, Exhaust Silencers and intermediate pipes. The bill came to just under £15,000.00 and has covered less than 100 miles since.
It will of course be supplied with a fresh MOT prior to being made available for collection.
