If there is a new soft-top Mercedes wearing an SL55 badge, in our eyes, this has some pretty big boots to fill... Bramley supplied dozens of the previous R230 series SL55 and it was no secret that we loved them! Powerful, handsome, comfortable and properly put-together pieces of kit, so this new derivative had to fit the bill. Fortunatley, we think it does just that. This R232 generation is a huge step on for Mercedes, with a very impressive rear-wheel steering system and market-leading infotainment system.
