We are delighted to present for sale this recently restored Range Rover LSE Hard Dash, finished in Mosswood Green with an Obsidian Black leather interior and Tweed trim detailing.
This iconic car was first registered on 13th January 1993 and shows an odometer mileage of 141,000. In 2018, the car was sold by Range Rover specialists Kingsley Cars, who, at the request of the car's owner, undertook a full restoration on the vehicle. The body of the car was dismantled and taken right back to a rolling chassis, effectively giving the team at Kingsley a blank canvas from which to start the build. Mosswood Green was the chosen colour and it was decided that an Aston Martin Obsidian Black leather interior with classical Tweed trim would be the perfect combination.
The engine was stripped down and uprated to a Kingsley 4.5 litre unit, which greatly improves economy whilst also upping power to 260 bhp. The gearbox, transfer box and all ancillary parts were also stripped down and reconditioned or replaced where required, along with a new fuel tank and fuel lines fitted. A Kingsley fast road exhaust was optioned, giving the car a fabulous soundtrack.
This examples restoration is extensive and has been exceptionally well documented by Kinglsey. It is a stunning motorcar and drives exceptionally well, even by modern standards. On-site and available for viewing at our Surrey showrooms, accompanied by its impressive history and build folder.
